Paula’s Special Order Bag

My friend Paula fell in love with this when it was just a formless felted shell. I lucked on on the lining since it turns out she really likes brown, teal and green together.

Monet Purse

Made from two different colorways of Noro Kureyon sock yarn alternating yarns every other stitch. The combination of colors reminds me of a Monet painting. Original pattern.

Two-Color Fans Purse

Here is my second Noro Fan bag but this time I used two colors per fan. I used several different skeins of Noro Kureyon and tried to mix all of the colors up. The bright blue lining fabric I think sets it all off nicely.

Grey Garden Bag

This bag was HUGE before I felted it. I included a before picture to show the size difference. It doesn’t need to be lined because it is so sturdy but I might add a pocket or two.

Passion Fruit Squares Bag with Flap

I had a hard time coming up with a name for this one but the colors reminded me of a passion fruit smoothie I had once. This bag is felted down to a really sturdy dense fabric – I definitely do not have to line this one!

Julie’s Special Order

I just finished this for my friend Julie who wanted a purse like the beige one I made my mom but using the colors from the Convertible backpack. I love knitting with this Malabrigo yarn – it is so soft even after felting. I used the same paisley fabric from the Braided Handle Tote and for the handle I re-purposed a leather belt from Brighton.

Braided Handle Bag

I love the chestnut yarn with the little orange and green flecks in it and the paisley material I lined it with is perfect.

Kalahari Felted Tote

Here is a picture of my finished Kalahari Tote. I had to make several color substitutions because I wanted to use yarns from my stash. It turned out great! A nice big size for shopping.
